Terms and Conditions
Sale Policy: All purchasable pieces are final sale, including gemstones, jewelry, and mineral specimens. We do not issue returns or refunds.
Custom Design and Non-Refundable Design Fee: All custom design projects require a non-refundable design and sourcing fee, payable before any work begins. This fee covers concept development, gemstone sourcing, CAD design, and other time-intensive aspects of custom work. The fee is credited toward the final purchase price of the completed jewelry but is non-refundable under all circumstances, including if the client cancels the project, chooses not to proceed, or changes their mind at any point in the process.
Final Sale Policy for Custom Work: All custom design sales are final. Due to the personalized nature of custom and fine jewelry, cancellations, returns, or exchanges are not permitted once a project enters Stage 2.
Definition of Stage 2: Stage 2 begins once the client has approved the final CAD design and confirmed all project details, including metal type, gemstones or diamonds, wax model (if applicable), and overall design. At this point, materials are sourced or ordered, and production is scheduled. Once a project has entered Stage 2, it is considered final and non-refundable.
Ring Sizing and Resizing: Clients are responsible for providing accurate sizing at the time of order. Resizing of 2 to 2.5 full sizes up or down is typically possible. Resizing beyond this range is not recommended and may compromise the structural integrity or aesthetic of the design. Additional charges apply for resizing services.
Repairs and Modifications: All repairs, resizing, or modifications must be performed by GemologyGeek® LLC to preserve the structural and aesthetic integrity of the piece. This includes, but is not limited to, resizing, prong tightening, polishing, rhodium or gold plating, stone setting, stone polishing, cutting, replacing, and other stone-related services.
GemologyGeek® LLC is not liable for any damage, defects, or changes resulting from third-party work. This includes, but is not limited to, structural failure, stone loss or damage, pitting, cracking, scratches, deformation, discoloration, finish alteration, or improper sizing.
Custom Production Timelines: Project timelines vary depending on design complexity, gemstone sourcing, and client communication. Delivery estimates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Delays due to supply chain disruptions, gemstone availability, or design revisions may occur and will be communicated promptly.
Acknowledgment of Terms: By submitting payment, placing an order, or approving a custom design, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Payment Terms: Invoices must be paid in full within 24 hours of receipt unless otherwise arranged in writing. Failure to make payment within this window may result in the item being released back into inventory without notice.
Domestic Sales: Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Square, and Swipe. A 3.5% processing fee may apply to credit card payments requiring manual entry.
International Sales: Accepted payment methods include Swipe. For orders exceeding $150 paid via credit card, a 4% processing fee applies. Please contact us via email if translation assistance is required.
Pricing Accuracy: While we strive to ensure all pricing is accurate, occasional errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, technical, or other errors, GemologyGeek® LLC reserves the right to cancel any order placed under incorrect pricing. In the event of such a cancellation, the client will be notified and given the option to purchase the item at the correct price, if available. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update pricing or product information without prior notice.
Warranty Terms: Custom jewelry crafted by GemologyGeek® LLC is covered under a one-year limited warranty. This warranty is void if any work is performed on the piece by anyone other than GemologyGeek® LLC or a craftsman approved in writing by GemologyGeek® LLC. For warranty-related work, clients must contact GemologyGeek® LLC at gemologygeek@gmail.com prior to any services being performed. Clients must provide the name and contact details of the proposed service provider and receive written approval before proceeding, or the warranty is void.

However, colors, clarity, and overall appearance may vary depending on your screen settings, device display, and lighting conditions. Gemstone color is a natural characteristic and may appear slightly different in person. We encourage clients to contact us with any questions about a specific stone before purchasing.
